The evening of October 17th 2014 was different than the 1,559 Friday nights which had come before. A typical Friday night for us at SWA Dallas would be arriving at the DFW airport from Cabo, Cairo, Dubai, Chonquing, San Antonio, or any of the places far or near were we work. Friday nights often find our team weary from the pace required to meet the high demands of our clients, the project work, and the intense brain drain the planning and design process requires. The end of the week also finds everyone ready for a glass of wine or a beer, a few snacks, and that special few minutes we spend together…hooch!
Friday night October 17th 2014 was different. No one was arriving at DFW weary from their travels or the last five days of working at a breakneck pace, and no one was readying for hooch…nooo, SWA Dallas was ready to really party! This was Friday night number 1,560, which marked the 30th year of the SWA Dallas office!
Upwards of one hundred twenty guests, including clients, families, friends, and the SWA Executive Committee, gathered in our new office space (proudly displaying SWA’s new brand and colors) to celebrate our longevity, work, and the incredible professionals which have made a successful 30-year practice possible.
Everyone at SWA Dallas hopes all of you will celebrate you own professional practice, be it one month, 30 years, or more. What we all do as a career is critical to the quality of life and place for everyone! SWA Dallas wishes you all long and prosperous careers full of challenges, interesting places and people, fun…and lots of parties!
